Anthea Freya Hill

Anthea is a British-born and New Zealand raised director, actor, writer and poet. She trained as an actor at The Actors Program NZ, 2013, and has worked extensively in Shakespeare ever since. She has worked and trained with Michael Hurst (OZNM), Lisa Harrow (OZNM), Tom Bishop (Professor of Shakespeare at UoA), Raymond Hawthorne (ONZM) and Rita Stone developing a strong and comprehensive understanding of Shakespeare in performance and academia. After moving to Paris in July 2022, Anthea established the Director Lab and became a founding member of Alchemy Theatre.
